RECEPTIONIST

TIME: 
 
There are two sifts available: 
Morning 8:30am – 11:30am and Afternoon 11:30am – 2:30pm

 

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Greeting people as they come into the center
  2. To handle a multi-line telephone system
  3. To respect the confidentiality of information you might receive either in person or over the telephone.
  4. Make various appointments and familiarize yourself with the agency’s programs, so that you can give correct information.
  5. Greet people for Lunch.

Duties:

 

  1. To answer the telephone in a friendly, warm, yet professional manner. Often the first contact with our agency is made by telephone.
  2. Be able to transfer calls, and take messages in a clear, concise manner.
  3. To take information over the phone, and make sure the message goes to the appropriate staff member.
  4. To greet people signing in for lunch.
  5. Count and complete lunch donation form.
  6. Sign people up for special events on appropriate sign-up sheet and collect money for certain programs and trips.
