Mission Trip Postponed

July 7, 2010

Due to the June 24, 2010 travel advisory from the U.S. Department of State, OIH has postponed the

August 9 - 19 mission trip to Haiti. We will post the new mission trip information as it becomes available.

If you feel God is calling you to share your talent and time, join us in August as we travel to the OIH

orphanage in Bombardopolis, Haiti. We need missionaries, young and old, with all kinds of expertise:

medical, construction, speaking, singing, cooking, arts and crafts, arms for hugs, hands to hold, bright

smiles to greet and voices to soothe. The August 2010 mission trip will be full of activities: conducting

vacation Bible school, holding evangelistic meetings, providing medical care to the OIH orphans and

local residents, painting the missionary house, woodworking projects for the missionary home, etc.

Missionary House

Visit Building to view pictures of the construction. OIH is looking for sponsors for the following items to

complete the missionary house: windows, doors, cement, tiles, bathroom and kitchen fixtures and

(Director of Communications and Public Relations) traveled to Illinois for an interview with Shelley Quinn

of 3ABN on May 5, 2010. We'll announce the date when the interview will be televised.

Completed Warehouse

April 18, 2010

The 34' x 60' warehouse is the first building constructed on the OIH property. It is built with a cistern

designed to catch rain water which has already been proven invaluable by providing water for drinking

and mixing cement for the construction of the missionary house. Read more...
