Who We Are

The focus of our ministries is straightforward--to meet the needs of abandoned children and the poor by “showing” them the Gospel.  We are guided by a simple principle:

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress...” - James 1:27

Why Manila?

Manila is home to approximately 200,000 street kids. Children come to us for a variety of reasons—some have been abused, others neglected or abandoned. Kids International Ministries (KIM) supports the New Faith Family Children’s Home, Mindanao Children’s Home, the Cuatro Community Center and the Arthur Center (both centers provide Christian education, medical and dental care, recreation activities and evangelical outreach ministries). We also support the Jeff & Colene Long family along with other short- and long-term missionaries dedicated to the care and nurture of the little ones entrusted to us.

Ruth and Paul Tuxworth are Australians working with KIM as High School Chaplains at Faith Academy Manila. Faith Academy educates the children of missionaries working thought SE Asia. Without this type of education support many missionaries would leave the field. They have two teenage children John and Christy.
  • Kim Courtright

Kim has served the kids in our home and community for the past five years. She enjoys building relationships with the kids, Filipino workers, other short and long term missionaries. Her greatest joy is seeing God move in the lives of the kids and staff. Kim is an MK and grew up in Columbia, South America, and is currently on furlough for a year in the states.

  • Cindi Williams

During the Christmas of 2009, Cindi Williams felt God calling her to serve the people of the Philippines as a short term missionary. Her passion for people in need has driven her to leave the known and step into a life that God has called her to lead. Her faith in God has driven her to care for those who are in need of God’s love and healing for long term missions over the next 2 years.
