Who We Are

The focus of our ministries is straightforward--to meet the needs of abandoned children and the poor by “showing” them the Gospel.  We are guided by a simple principle:

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress...” - James 1:27

Why Manila?

Manila is home to more than 70,000 street kids. In addition, there is the growing concern for the 1.7 million children living in impoverished and crowded informal settlements springing up all across Metro Manila. Many of these children, rather than going to school, are taking to the streets to beg, work and play.

Children come to us for a variety of reasons—some have been abused, others neglected or abandoned. To care for these children, Kids International Ministries supports several children’s homes.

To address the needs of kids and their families in the nearby impoverished settlements, KIM supports a variety of community ministries: Christian education, medical and dental care, livelihood development programs, recreation activities and evangelical outreach ministries.

We also support all of our missionaries and national workers dedicated to the care and nurturing of the little ones entrusted to us.

  • Daisy Chell

Daisy first came to Manila in August of 2007 with the intent to help for one year wherever was needed.  She spent some of that first year teaching preschool in the Cuatro Christian School.  Also during that year she jumped head first into a fulfilling season of life at New Faith Family Children’s Home.  Then in November of 2011, Daisy transitioned into the New Hope Family Clinic ministry where she has been a part of setting up the clinic and ministering to expecting mothers in the Cuatro community.  Daisy is so grateful that the LORD has called and provided for her to serve in the Philippines and enjoys life in His hands to the fullest. She is excited to see what God has in store and how the love of Jesus will be spread in this place.
