What is SPARK?  It is a ten month intentional journey into knowing God more intimately and maturing in our faith individually and as a community.

Each person committing to SPARK will belong to a home Discipleship group.  Each group will meet in homes over the ten months on the second and fourth Sunday evenings of each month.  We will "Grow" as we study the life of Christ, and experience what it means to serve God by serving others as we "GO" on the third Sunday evening of each month.

The following briefly expains the planned SPARK home discipleship groups monthly involvement.

 

Leader Training/Mentoring - Week 1

Each month the Discipleship Leaders will meet as a group with Pastor Michael.  Plus Michael will meet with each leader one-on-one during the month.

 GROW   -   Week 2

 Learn together as you explore God's word with others and discover what it means to be a disciple of Christ.  You will also actively explore with others how we can live that out in every aspect of our lives!

GO   -   Week 3

 Together we will intentionally practice the discipline of serving others.  Each group will determine before hand various service projects to accomplish together.

Fellowship and Critique   -   Week 4

 While sharing a meal together the group will discuss and reflect on the prior weeks service work and encourage one another.

Community Celebration   - Week 5

On the 5th Sunday of a month the entire Faith Journey community will come together to celebrate and share around the tables what we have experienced in our GROWING and GOING.  It will be a time of ENCOURAGEMENT for all of us in our journey of DISCIPLESHIP growth.
