The Autism Society of America North Suburban Chapter Support Group is a non-

profit organization open to all who are interested in meeting families,

professionals, and people involved with autism spectrum disorders. We are

eager for more families to join and attend any meeting possible. You will be

inspired, educated, and in good company. All meeting are at the Skokie

Village Hall the first Tuesday of the month at 7PM. Just show up! There is no fee for meetings.

Connections: Bringing the Pieces together.

For children ages 2-3 with autism

The "Connections" group is now the only intense Early Intervention funded program in the Du Page West Cook area. This group incorporates Speech, Occupational, Developmental, and Music disciplines. The groups are designed to support social-emotional development, school
readiness skills and peer relationships. Pragmatic, social communication play, sensory regulation and behavior management are addressed in this unique program.
 
For children ages 4-11 "Pragmatics in Action" is available. This notable group focuses on the development of social skills and language in a peer group.

Free screenings are available. Communication Clubhouse can arrange for free evaluations for children ages Birth to Three. Two locations: Downers Grove and Chicago.
