PARISH MISSION STATEMENT
St. Francis Cathedral Basilica is a Eucharistically centered faith community whose life is formed  by our baptismal commitment to Christ, nourished by Scripture, Church teachings and the Sacraments, supported by membership in the worldwide Roman Catholic communion of believers, and is put into practice by our service and involvement in the world around us. It is a community with a long and rich history, where all are welcome, trust is present, risks for the Kingdom of God are taken, and where the gifts of everyone are called forth. Under the protection of La Conquistadora and the patronage of St. Francis of Assisi,we strive to be instruments of peace and all that God calls us to be.

Parish Registration

Are you registered at the Parish?

Did you know that the demographic studies estimate that more than 1/3 of all Catholics are not registered in a parish? If you are not registered in our parish, please consider doing so. Also, encourage your friends and family to register!

Registering is important because:

 If a parish doesn’t know who is out there, how can it adequately serve the needs of all – especially singles, divorced or young families who may not see the need to register?

 When the services of the Church are needed – such as for a wedding, Baptism or funeral – it is easier if the person is registered.

 Registered parishioners receive helpful information about our parish including The Welcome! ¡Bienvenidos! pamphlet, invitation to a "Welcome to our Parish Family ~ Meet the Pastors" reception, folder with pertinent information regarding our many parish ministries with names and phone numbers of the leaders who can answer your questions about how to get involved. You will also be invited to a special, behind the scenes tour of the Cathedral Basilica.

Registering is easy. You can either visit the parish office or download a registration form from our website www.cbsfa.org (the form can be found at the bottom of our home page). If you have any questions please contact the parish office at 982-5619.
