Martin Rutte, founder of Project Heaven on Earth presented his remarkable work at Bread of Life in 2007.His premise is simple and transformational: there is a passion planted in the particular soul of each human person or group that directly connects to the contribution we have to make to our world. In the words of Frederick Buechner,“The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.”
Part of our work in partnering with Martin was preparation of a packet for diverse congregations of different faith traditions developed during our 3 month project in 2007. For the packet CLICK HERE: Congregational Packet for Co-Creating Heaven on Earth .Our approach uses creative arts to access one's personal and corporate vision for 'Heaven on Earth' and to begin to put legs on the deep longings of our hearts.
We offer it now as open source material and invite you to experiment with it and let us know what you discover. Should you be moved to contribute to our work at Bread of Life, please do. Click here to DONATE. We are a non-profit and gratefully accept your partnership in our mission.
